Tuini Tuwha

Tuini is passionate about empowering people through learning and elevating Māori and Pasifika to succeed. She brings tikanga and mātauranga Māori to all her work, and this gives ākonga comfort and confidence in her sessions. Tuini says it heartens her when her learners say they can’t wait for the wānanga and to learn more, even those who didn't have good experiences at school. In her classes, there’s no such thing as failure; instead, she helps everyone reach their fullest potential. When she’s not at work, Tuini is either cheering on her boys or the Warriors.
